must i give my social security number if i were to purchase a auto policy?

i went to google and i searched “bad credit loans” and alot of sites came out where you could get loans. i wanted to know how secure are those and if they are a scam just to steal your social security number.
Auto Insurance
I was treated right after the accident for whiplash. It’s in my medical records but then was unable to go to treatment for some time because of other problems but injury got worse now the chiropractor won’t work on me because he says the insurance company won’t usually pay after this time loss. Also the auto insurance company won’t preauthorize treatment and I can’t afford the $30 a visit co-pay required for using my health insurance. I’m on Social Security.
Health Insurance
I have a terminal illness but I am still able to work, however, I am on COBRA because my last job wrongly fired me. I am not poor but I simply cannot keep paying for COBRA. I cannot go for Medicaid because my good doctor does not accept Medicaid and I do not want to owe lots of money and have to worry about paying it off. I heard there is a program with either Social Security or Medicare where all you need to do is fill out a few forms and get a letter from your doctor stating that you have a terminal illness. Then you will receive health insurance for little or no cost and your doctor has to accept the insurance. Does anyone have any info on this? I am not disabled to the point where I cannot work, but my bills are a lot of money even with the COBRA coverage.
I am not asking about MedicaID, I believe it is a form of MedicaRE…
Auto Insurance
I know several people who have submitted their information into one of the many “online auto insurance quotes” and now they have solicitors all over them, on their phone, emails, junk mail and even one case of Social Security Identity theft. So my question is: Are these online auto insurance quotes really safe? Doesn’t it make sense to stay with a local auto insurance agent you can do business with either on the phone or in person.
Life Insurance
My sister’s husband came to this country a few years ago, and as any responsible parent he wants to secure the future of his family so he decided to get life insurance. The problem is that my brother-in-law only has an employment authorization card ( this means he is legal in the country). His social security number is real so I wonder why the agent did not want to sell him life insurance. Can anybody answer this please. Only people who have knowledge on this subject.
Life Insurance
My ex and I were never married when we had our son so I am worried that if something were to happen to him, I would be stuck with just social security and I feel that is not enough to help our son with the needs in his life such as college, a house and other expenses. I have a policy on myself and our son is the beneficiary if something were to happen to me but his dad is very irresponsible and inmature so he doesn’t have anything like this for him. So being that I am the more mature one, I want to take out a life insurance policy on my ex (which I would pay for) but I don’t know how to tell him. I already know that I have to get his permission and have him sign all the documents in order to get a policy on him. I also know he is not going to be understanding so how would I introduce this to him to let him know it is for the benefit of our child?
Auto Insurance
I’d like to know… Whenever you’re trying to obtain new auto insurance they take your driver’s license number & social security number.. You’d think that they could look up any tickets/accidents you’ve gotten into. BUT, why do they ask?

If you “forget” an incident, will they find out?

This is coming from a 21 year old who was already paying $1,200 over 6 months for insurance and was involved in an rear-end collision doing 15 in congestion on the interstate, now my premium is $2000 for 6 months.

Life Insurance
I’m disabled and want to apply for SSI (Social Security Income), but I may not qualify because I have a life insurance policy worth 30 grand that was set up for me by my parents. I can cash out the policy and instantly spend down the money.

However, do you think the government would find out about the policy?

Everything like the accumulated interest on the policy is tax exempt, so I never had to report anything about it.
