What is the min. amount credit card debt you must have to do debt consolidation and is this a good idea?

I wanted to do credit card debt consolidation but I am skeptical if this is a good idea with the economy. I am very far behind on my credit card bills and the only reason I can’t afford them now is because the min payment has gone through the roof. The all together debt that I have is less than 2,000.

Why is the co-pay for dental insurance more expensive than health insurance?

I compared the co pays on several reputable dental insurance companies and it is very expensive. Many things are not covered, even with the best dental insurance. Health insurance is usually a 10 dollar co pay for primary physicians and a 35-50 dollar co pay for specialty physicians. Is there any reason why dental insurance co pay is as expensive as it is?

What health insurance company is best for a child?

I am looking for a good and reasonably priced health insurance provider for my 9 year old son. Insurance through my work is outrageous so I’m looking for an outside provider. His mother is suppose to have already put him on CHIP with the state of TX (by court order) but she refuses to do so for some reason. I **** the idea of him being without health insurance. Anyone had any good experiences with certain companies? Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Were does someone from a poor financial class get good family life insurance?

The reason i ask is because the life insurance company, IEHP, says my family does not qualify 4 life insurance and medical because we (or they) get too little on life insurance and too much on medical.

When someone helps you with debt consolidations, aren’t they supposed to give you a copy of the contract?

I recently met with somone to help me with debt consolidation. I signed a few papers and she said she would have to make copies and then would sent me the copies of the contract back. I haven’t received them yet. Isn’t this strange. I asked her about this and she said she would resend them, but for some reason it doesn’t seem like she wants me to have a copy. Isn’t this strange?

Canceling health insurance with the company your work for?

A gal at work is having some problems canceling her health insurance with the company we work for. Our company is saying she CAN NOT cancel her health insurance policy with BCBS since its not open enrollment. The reason she wants to cancel is because she got coverage with a different company. Is it legal for our company to say she CAN NOT cancel her policy??? How could she afford to pay for both!
