Health Insurance
My two front teeth feel extremely sensitive right now to the point that it stings. I do not have dental insurance, but I have complete health insurance. Because I’m not worried about my teeth’s aesthetic issues, is there a way to get this billed at the hospital under my health insurance?
Health Insurance
I am a single father of 3 kids and looking for health/dental/vision insurance for my family. We don’t really go to the doctor as much but still want decent coverage in case I need to do so. Any ideas? Am based in Southern California.

I have not only very unhealthy teeth, but an undersized lower jaw. Both of which is causing quite a bit of health problems (from digestive difficulties to sleep apnia). With this being not merely dental, can my health insurance be used to fund some way of fixing this problem?
Life Insurance
My mom has been on worker’s compensation for about four months now. She gets life, medical, and dental insurance through the company that she works for. For some reason, she just received a notice that all of her insurance will be canceled. Can they do this? What does she need to do?
The company that she works for was paying 70% of medical and she was responsible for 30% every two weeks while she was working, and since she has been on worker’s comp, they canceled because they refuse to pay their part of the premium.

I am having a tooth implant. My insurance co. won’t pay a nickel for it. They say it is not a necessary procedure since there are alternatives even though I had to sign a statement with my dentist that included the clause ‘I understand this is a necessary procedure in my case because alternatives could jeopardize the health of my entire tooth structure.’ Then I noticed my dental insurance pays for preventative oral cancer screening. I asked their rep whether that was a necessary procedure since obviously it’s not, since it’s preventative. The rep gave me some b.s. answer. Then I said, “why don’t you just admit you won’t pay for the implant because it’s expensive?” The rep said, we don’t pay for dental implants because they are not covered in our policy.” Duh. That’s Illogic 101. Do insurance companies really think we are that stupid?
