I took out two loans online two years ago. I never repaid them and that bank account is closed. I can’t remember the name of the companies either. That’s bad I know
Anyway they are not on my credit report, but I want to repay them. What are some ways of finding these companies? Or should i wait from them to find me?
DON’T wait for them to find you. You’ll look like a deadbeat; they will have ruined your credit by then; and worse you’ll be in the defensive position.
Do you have your bank statements from the closed account? If so, look there. If not, I’d still call the bank, because they will have the records. You may have to pay a few dollars for them to be retrieved, but it would be worth it.
Again check into your states regulations several will not allow the collection of such loans anymore.
I would find them first. Trust me… they know you are out there, but you should settle the debt to stay out of trouble…
