Licensed at 19/Now 25yrs old. I have a clean record but can’t afford full coverage because it’s in the thousands. Is it pricey for me because I’m Asian? I don’t get it, I hear about people being fully covered for a whole year for less than $1200, but I only have basic coverage and I’m paying $1100 per year. Can anyone help?

I pay $190 month for full coverage, 04 Durango, 07 Tahoe, AND HOMEOWNERS…..
Insurance Premiums are calculated in different ways. Most companies use among other things, your zip code and credit rating. No, you being Asian has nothing to do with your premium. It could be that the area you live in has a high number of accidents and thefts. Most likely after you turn 26 you should see a drop in your premium. Ask your agent to explain how your policy was rated. Ask, if you moved to a different zip code would your premium go down.
